Amy’s Kisses Walk to Remember
For those who may not be aware of why Montefiore Cemetery participates in this walk each year…
While much of the work we do here at Montefiore Cemetery does involve helping families through the natural course of life, some losses are simply unimaginable.
In October 2011, Amy Perez and her two young children, Molly and Gregory, were tragically killed in an act of domestic violence. During that difficult time, Montefiore Cemetery had the privilege of serving the Perez family, creating a lasting connection that continues today.
The Amy’s Kisses Foundation was established in their memory to support victims of domestic violence, raise awareness, and help prevent similar tragedies. Each year, we participate in the Amy’s Kisses Walk to honor Amy, Molly, and Gregory, support their family’s mission, and stand with all those affected by domestic violence.
